Cybernetik’s case packer for pouches is designed to maximize packaging density of pouches in cartons / cases via a staggered pouch lifting system that creates overlap during pouch packing. Two pick and place robots ensure high-speed operations. Optional features include cleated belt conveyor for broken pouch rejection and a metal detector.
Operations of the pouch packing system start with conveying of pouches. A vibratory conveyor uniformizes the thickness of the pouches for compact packaging. The staggered pouch lifting system of the case packer for pouches raises two pouches to slightly different heights. Two pick and place robots then load two such pouches at a time into cases.
