Cybernetik’s Case Packer for Shrink Pack and Bottles is an accurate and high-speed robotic packaging solution. A tool changer enables the set up to rapidly shift between shrink pack packaging and bottle packaging with the same robot. A matrix formation unit creates as-required bottle matrix based on carton dimensions. Quality control for missing bottle detection uses 3D cloud point technology.

When operating as a shrink pack packaging system, the case packer robot picks up shrink packs arriving on the link belt conveyor and places them precisely in cartons as directed by the carton guide funnel. Multiple cartons can be loaded simultaneously for high-speed operations. Changing conveyor guide channel dimensions enables this robotic packaging system to handle shrink packs of various sizes. Operators modify the tool/gripper and carton guide funnels for the system to work as a bottle packaging solution. The case packer robot picks up the bottle matrix and places it in cartons. Cartons with missing bottles are detected via 3D cloud point technology and rejected.
