Cybernetik’s Flow Wrapper Feeding for Chocolate Bars enable the customizable orientation and transfer for chocolate bar packaging after quality checks. Made to food grade standards, the setup examines the in-transit singled products for shape deformations via a vision system followed by metal ingress checks at a metal detector. Rejection is in-line, and the longitudinally oriented, accepted and singled products are conveyed downstream to the flow wrapper.
After the operator loads the chocolate bar matrix, sections of the flow wrapper feeder direct the products at different speeds to introduce gaps between successive rows. A row aligner lines up all bars in one single row. Thereafter, the chocolate bars move to narrower conveyors where they are oriented into a single file. Vision system and metal detector check these in-transit products for shape deformities and metal ingress with in-line rejection of the defective ones. The gap between the accepted products is then uniformized for easier downstream chocolate bar packaging.
