Cybernetik’s Multiple Line Carton Palletizer is a flexible packaging solution with a single robotic palletizer handling cartons of different types and sizes from different lines. Additionally, the same robotic palletizer picks and places the pallets before arranging cartons on to them in as-required matrix formations.
Case erection is the starting point for the multiple line carton palletizer. Primary packaged product in bag is then loaded in cartons. Passing these cartons over a vibratory settling conveyor evenly distributes the product and enables proper, subsequent lid closure. Next, the bag is sealed inline. After taping their tops, the cartons undergo an in-transit weight check with rejection of overweight and underweight cartons. Approved cartons from two such lines then approach the robotic palletizer which has already placed the respective pallets in position. Operations of this packaging solution end with the roll out of the carton-loaded pallets on the rolling conveyor.
