Cybernetik’s Robotic Flow Wrapper Feeding system is a primary packaging solution for products of various shapes, sizes, and orientations. The automation employs a vision system to guide the high-speed delta robots in real time to pick and place products such as enrobed chocolates that arrive distributed along the width of a belt conveyor. Built to hygienic standards, the flow wrapper can handle the packaging of food and pharmaceutical products. Customized grippers enable the robots to execute delicate operations such as chocolate packaging and candy packaging.

Vision system of the robotic flow wrapper feeding system analyzes the products arriving on the infeed conveyor, and rejects out of shape and broken products. It then guides the robot to pick and place the accepted ones in the longitudinal slot on the outfeed conveyor. Next, rollers of unwind the film to wrap the products longitudinally. Transverse sealing and cutting complete the core flow wrapper operation. Post wrapping quality control rejects double packed and empty pouches.
