Cybernetik’s Case Packer for Bottles is end-to-end automation from carton forming machine to case packing and quality control for high-speed, reliable packaging of bottles of multiple sizes with minimal changeover times. Customizable bottle matrix formation lends flexibility, and the system has checks to detect defective individual bottles as well as cartons.
Operations of the case packer for bottles begins with the case erector unfolding cartons followed by their bottom taping. Slip sheet is then placed at the bottom for structural integrity of the case. On a separate line, bottles are simultaneously checked for form defects before being formed into an as-required matrix. Next, the gripper picks up the bottle matrix and places it inside the case. Multiple layers of bottle matrices can be placed inside cases with a slip sheet acting as the separator. This is followed by case top taping and labelling. Another quality control system rejects incorrectly loaded cartons.

Robot with tailored grippers pick and place the bottle matrix in the case in single or multiple stacks.
