Cybernetik’s Case Packer for Pouches is automation for loading of single or multiple pouches in cases with numerous customizable features. Advanced features include detection and in-line rejection of broken and metal-ingress pouches, settling conveyor for uniformizing pouch thickness before packaging, multiple robots for high-speed operations, pneumatic ram for proper case lid closure, carton vibrator to improve packing density, lid edges folder for proper lid closure, and check weigher.
Operations of the pouch case packer start with the cases and pouches approaching the loading station along separate lines. Reference systems lock both in the correct position before the robot picks and places single or multiple pouches in cases. One particular automated case packer variant uses single gripper for multiple SKUs. Pre and post packaging systems and checks are available based on the pouch case packer model.
